4. WiFi-anslutning
For stable app notifications, install the detector within normal home WiFi range and follow the app setup instructions.

How GasNet-S4 Works?
GasNet-S4 is a WiFi-enabled natural gas alarm designed for residential indoor use. Once powered on and preheated, it continuously monitors the surrounding air for changes in gas concentration.
When the preset alarm threshold is reached, the device triggers a loud on-site alarm and, when connected to WiFi, sends a real-time alert to your smartphone.
After power-on, the detector enters a preheating process before normal monitoring. If the device repeatedly restarts or stays in preheating mode, check the power cable, adapter, and power supply first, then contact support.

GasNet-S4 continuously monitors the surrounding air while powered on. If the detected gas concentration reaches the alarm threshold, the device triggers a local warning and sends an app notification when WiFi is connected.

Natural gas itself is odorless, but a sulfur-like “rotten egg” smell is added for safety. However, small leaks may not be noticeable by smell alone, especially in enclosed spaces. GasNet-S4 helps monitor combustible gas risks so you are not relying only on smell.

GasNet-S4 is designed to trigger an alarm at 8% LEL, according to the product specification.
Fungerar denna naturgasdetektor med WiFi?
Yes. When connected to WiFi, GasNet-S4 sends real-time alerts to your phone through the mobile app. The local audible alarm will still function even if WiFi is temporarily unavailable.
Påverkar omgivningstemperaturen prestandan?
Yes. GasNet-S4 should be used in a dry, protected indoor location within the listed operating range: 32°F–131°F (0°C–55°C). Avoid outdoor, wet, freezing, or exposed areas. Stable USB power supply is also important for normal operation.
Does GasNet-S4 detect propane?
No. GasNet-S4 should currently be treated as a natural gas detector. Propane / LPG detection is not confirmed in the current official product documentation, so we do not recommend using it as a propane / LPG detector.
Is GasNet-S4 a smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector?
No. GasNet-S4 is designed for natural gas detection. It does not replace a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, propane detector, or LPG detector.
If you need smoke and carbon monoxide detection, use a dedicated smoke / CO alarm such asGasNet-CM.
Fungerar detektorn vid ett strömavbrott?
GasNet-S4 requires continuous power via USB to operate. During a power outage, the device will not function unless powered by an external backup source.

Coverage depends on your home layout, gas type, appliance locations, and airflow. Many users place detectors near suitable indoor areas where gas appliances are used. Always follow the product manual for placement guidance.
