Transport Layer Interface & Protocol

Customized and integrated based on best fit protocols for smooth-running and is easily maintained and upgradable.

Standard and Modularized Hardware Interfaces

Hardware Transport Layers
  • Bluetooth: Less data and low-power dissipation less than 10megs. Widely used for wireless sensor data transmission.
  • Wi-Fi: For local mass data transmission, such as video. It is a flexible local communication network model.
  • Zigbee: A low-power, low data rate, and close proximity (i.e., personal area) wireless ad hoc network. Widely used in Home Automation and Industry.
  • RS232: Device data output standard mode, one-on-one communication.
  • RS485: BUS mode for data communication. Used for multi-device connections with a central data collector.
IoT Protocol
  • Modbus is a communication protocol developed by Modicon systems. In simple terms, it is a method used for transmitting information over serial lines between electronic devices.
  • MQTT is a machine-to-machine (M2M)/"Internet of Things" connectivity protocol. It was designed as an extremely lightweight publish/subscribe messaging transport. It is useful for connections with remote locations where a small code footprint is required and/or network bandwidth is at a premium.
